At Kayak Adventure our
instruction & guiding is inspired by a lifetime of boating experience on
Long Island Sound. We take pride in our
outstanding small group instruction, and tours for novice through advanced intermediate
sea kayakers. Paddlers continue skill development through our Sound Kayakers
club, challenging day trips, and special clinics. Click on the colorful

Our
instructor, Michele Sorensen, is ACA certified at Coastal
Kayak Level Three. She has taught kayaking year-round for eleven years. Read

We rent kayaks for our lessons
and trips, and to our Sound Kayakers' club paddlers. About
Our Rental Kayaks explains our rental policy and describes
our boats. Our sea kayaks include Current Designs, Impex and Necky brands. Kayaks
& Gear on Sale lists kayaks, paddles and gear we're selling.
What to Wear & Bring advises how to outfit for kayaking
in all seasons. We post the current water temperature in western L.I. Sound,
and have links to NOAA weather, Long Island Sound sea temperature, local tides,

Join our club, Sound
Kayakers, to take part in monthly trips, safety clinics,
kayak camping, priority for guest instructors, and discounts on rentals and
tours. Membership includes a members-only newsletter. Joining an active club
is the best way for sea kayakers of all levels to improve their skills and meet
other paddlers.
