Payment
We prefer payment by cash or check, but if you wish to pay by credit card, we are registered with Paypal.

Instruction & Guiding
$90 ACA Quickstart Kayak group lesson  - 4 hours - avg group size 2-4
$115 ACA Introduction to Kayak group lesson - 6 hours - avg group size 2-4
$150 ACA Level 2 or 3 Coastal Kayak group lesson - 8 hours - avg group size 2-4
$80/hr Private Instruction

Kayak Rentals

$42.54 Sit-inside single for half day lesson or 2 hour trip
$53.18 Sit-inside single kayak for all day lesson or trip over 2 hours
6.35% CT sales tax is included in above rates.
Kayak rentals include CT sales tax, life vest, paddle, spray skirt, pump and paddle float.

Terms
Sea kayaking is a high risk sport. Please read our page What to Wear & Bring Kayaking to understand how best to prepare.
Participation: Kayak Adventure reserves the right to re-schedule a class or tour if there are less than two participants.
Weather:  We cancel for downpour, high winds or all-day thunderstorms.
Cancellations:
Please give 24 hours notice if you need to change your plans.

Waiver
:  You will be asked to sign a waiver form.
ID
: A photo identification document is required for unaccompanied rentals - driver's license or passport.

Gear Rentals

$3 Neoprene gloves or hood
$5 Neoprene high-top boots, mukluks or neoprene shorts
$5 Compass - clip-on deck
$5 Waterproof navigation light for night-time paddling or strobe light for visual distress signal (both CG required)
$5 Spray skirt
$7 AquaBound Stingray paddle
$10 Farmer John or Jane wetsuit (long legs, no sleeves), 3mm
$10 Dry pants or jacket - breathable, waterproof for cold water paddling (under 60 degrees)
$10 All Carbon paddle
$33 Cold-water gear package: wetsuit, dry pants & jacket, 3mm neoprene gloves, neoprene hood & waterproof mukluk boots

Travel Fees to your location
We will travel to your location anywhere in CT or metro NY.
One way travel time is charged at $20/hour, pro-rated by the minute using Mapquest time.
Round trip travel mileage is charged at the IRS Rate- 55.5 cents/mile for 2012.
Mileage is calculated using Mapquest or Google Maps from 24 Poplar St., Norwalk, CT to your destination.
